North Carolina Horseback Riding Trails near Asheville
If you have never ridden before, or have limited experience, we will show you the basics. For your safety we use a specifically designed platform so you can easily mount your horse and we give basic tips and instructions on riding before hitting the trail.
For the experienced riding enthusiast, you will love exploring the variety of our 20 miles of trails from mountain forests and streams to the open pasture.
We offer the following from mid-April through October:
- 1 to 4 hour rides through beautiful mountain forests along Bald Mountain Creek.
- 6 hour ride to the top of Bald Mountain for panoramic views of Pisgah and Cherokee National Forests (over 5500' ft elevation!)
- Picnic Lunch (optional on two hour+ rides)
- Riding Lessons
